AXS will host 10 regular season events and one Invitational Event for the 2022 season.
There will be a number of stand alone events throughout the season as well. These stand alone events do not have any effect on season points, standings or season awards. (Scratch Events, Last Man Standing, Turkey Shoot, New Year’s Day Doubles, Kings & Queens, King of the Mountain, Champs / Non Champs)
The stand alone events will count towards events bowled for the Invitational at the end of the year.
All events are open to any USBC sanctioned bowlers. Sanctioning will be available the day of the event, but it is recommended the bowler sanction in advance of the event.
Entries & Averages
There is a $20 membership fee. This membership MUST be paid to participate in any AXS event.
All $20 of this membership fee goes towards end Invitational Event Prize fund and any tournament expenses that may come up.
Entry fee is $50 per entry, per person if you PRE-Register online at bowlaxs.com. It is recommended that you pre-register as some squads may sell out this season.
Entry fee is $60 per entry, per person if you do NOT register online in advance of the event (6 pm the night before deadline). All $10 will go towards the prize fund for the Invitational Event at the end of the season.
Entering averages will be determined for each event by using your highest current average from the current season, then re-rated using the USBC Sport shot average adjustment chart.
Any Sport shot entering average will NOT be re-rated.
All bowlers with a current average of 21 games or more must provide a standing sheet from their league to use that average as their entering average. If you have less than 21 games in one league, but have at least 21 combined games in multiple leagues, a composite average will be used. (Leagues must be sanctioned to use these averages). League standing sheets must be provided at time of entry.
Anyone with no current league average will enter at 200. (scratch)
Handicap is set at 80% of 200 for each regular season event. Handicap is capped at 40 pins per bowler, per game.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to re-rate any bowler.
